If I Lived In A Snowglobe

If I lived in a snow globe, I would see a beautiful Christmas tree with pretty lights. I would hear the wind blowing around sparkling snowflakes. I would feel happy and chilly! I totally stole this idea from all my pinterest friends. It’s such a cute craft! Miss 5 loved thinking about what it would be like if she was inside of a snow globe.

You will need:
Construction Paper
Snowy Glitter
Hole Punched Paper Circles
Zip Lock Bag

Paper Plates
Scissors
Glue
Tape
Markers

To Start:

Print this template on white paper. Click on the picture to print.

Draw a picture in the square of yourself in a snow globe. Think about what might be around you – a Christmas tree, Santa, snow, a snowman, your family, etc.

Fill out the If I Lived In A Snowglobe trapezoid.

Snow Globe Instructions:

Cut out your picture.

Glue your picture onto the top of a paper plate.

Take a second paper plate and cut out the center.

Fill a zip lock bag with “snow”. We used glitter and hole punch circles.

Tape the bag to the back of the plate with the hole in the center. You may need to trim the corners of the bag so they don’t stick out.

Decorate the bottom of the cut paper plate.

Place the cut plate with the zip lock bag on top of the picture plate and tape the top together along the edges. Make sure you leave the bottom open so you can attach the bottom of the snow globe.

Cut a trapezoid out of construction paper that is slightly bigger than the white trapezoid.

Glue your If I Lived In A Snow Globe trapezoid onto the construction paper trapezoid. This will be the bottom of the snow globe.

Tape the bottom to the inside of the bottom paper plate.

Close the globe by taping the edges.

Shake your globe to watch the pretty snow fall around you!
