Clay Snowman
To start off our Christmas crafts this season we made this adorable little snowman! We had extra clay from our Nest Craft and Ahria’s been begging me to do something with it so we finally did!
You will need:
Air Dry Clay
Pipe Cleaner
Cotton Balls
2 Twigs
Googly Eyes
Tacky Glue
Black Felt
Scissors
3 Buttons
Roll 3 balls – small, medium and large. I saved some clay for the mouth and nose. This clay was from months ago and wasn’t stored well so it had turned a bit hard. I added a drop of water while we kneaded it and it worked great.
We used tacky glue to put on the eyes and buttons. We stuck 2 twigs in the middle for the arms.
We used sharpies to color the nose orange and the mouth black. We made a hat out of felt. I cut a circle for the bottom, a smaller circle for the top and a long strip. Then I glued the strip around the small circle and glued that onto the big circle.
We pulled apart cotton balls and made it look like snow.
Ahria has been really into decorating this year. It’s super fun and exciting having her involved in everything. She has a small tree in her room, lights hanging and a light up gingerbread house. The clay snowman fit right in!
