Rush Hour

Rush Hour is one of those games that takes me right back to childhood. I loved trying to figure out each puzzle and get the red car out of the traffic jam. This game is so great for kids. It has many educational benefits and it’s compact design makes it easy to grab on the go. Rush hour has 4 different levels of difficulty making it a great pick for all ages!

Who We Play With:

My 3 year old, 6 year old and I love Rush Hour. Dad is not a puzzle person so this is not his type of game.

How To Play

Set Up

Pull out the bottom drawer and select a card. Place it in the holder on top of the board.

Arrange the cars and trucks to look exactly like the picture.

Game Play

The object is to get the red car out. Move the trucks and cars forward and backward, up and down to rearrange them until the red car is free.

If you get stuck, the back of the card has the answers.

*Tip* You can use the answers to play a different way. Have one player read off each direction, one at a time, in order. The other player will move the cars and attempt to finish the puzzle. By doing this, the children are working on language skills, listening skills and following directions.

Would we play this again?

Yes! Rush Hour is a great challenge and perfect for quiet game time. We bring this game with us when we are traveling, too.
