Nature Weaving Loom: Create Beautiful Art with Flowers and Twigs
This simple nature craft is such a lovely way to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the season. We gathered twigs, tied them together with twine to make a loom, and then wove in flowers to create a beautiful collage. We made these while working on checking off our Spring Bucket List. It’s a peaceful, hands-on activity that lets kids (and moms!) get creative while spending time outdoors.
You will need:
Twine
Twigs
Flowers & Plants – you will want at least 2 inches of stem on your flowers.

Start by gathering 4 twigs and placing them together in a square. Tie each twig together at the corners with twine securely, wrapping each corner a few times before tying.

Once the corners are tied, tie a piece of twine to the bottom of the square. Wrap the twine around the twigs horizontally, working your way up the square. Make sure the twine is as tight as possible. Secure the twine by tying it to the twig near the top.

Now your loom is ready for weaving! Combine flowers and plants, weaving them through each line of twine.

Hang your loom somewhere special to show off your hard work! These flower looms came out so beautiful and my kids were so proud of them.
