Mummy Halloween Craft
This Halloween, turn those empty cardboard tubes into fun little mummies! Start by painting the tubes black, then wrap them in gauze for that classic mummy look. Add some googly eyes to give them personality, and you’ve got a spooky yet cute decoration. It’s a super simple craft that kids will enjoy, and it’s great for adding a touch of handmade charm to your Halloween festivities. We decorated my daughter’s room with these along with some other Halloween crafts!
You will need:
Gauze
Glue or Mod Podge
Scissors
Black paint (or construction paper)
Googly eyes
Start by painting the toilet paper rolls black. Painting is Ahria’s favorite thing EVER. She will literally never say no to painting. So, I’m a big fan of washable paints!!
While you wait for those to dry, cut your gauze into strips. Then, put on your googly eyes. I prefer the stick ons. Gluing googly eyes are tougher for the littles.
Dip the end of a strip into glue and start wrapping!
Ahria kept calling them her mum-mas. She had me laughing! We had a great time making these together.
