Leprechaun Boots

I was planning a St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt and wanted to hide a pair of leprechaun boots! I quickly drew up a template, cut it out of felt and glued it together. They turned out pretty cute! You could even stuff them with small goodies as a St. Patrick’s Day surprise!

You will need:
Felt
Sequin
Pom-Poms
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun
Sticker Paper – optional

Print out the template. I like to print my templates on sticker paper so I can stick it right to the felt. It makes it easy to cut and doesn’t move around.

Cut out your template and put each sticker on the felt sheet. Then, cut out the felt pieces. If you aren’t using sticker paper, you can use a pin to hold the paper in place.

Hot glue along the back of each piece and connect them. Then, glue the “U” of the boots together. Do not glue the top or the bottom together.

Carefully, glue the bottom of the boot onto the oval. Making sure to push up the back a bit so it rounds the back of the boot.

Cut out the decorative top on a different color of felt. Red would look cute too! Hot glue them onto the top of the boot. Add a pom-pom and sequins for the final touches!

I stuffed our boots with cotton balls to make them pop a bit more for our scavenger hunt!
