Fun and Free Nature Scavenger Hunts for Kids!
As a family that loves to adventure and hike, there’s nothing we enjoy more than taking trips to our local rivers. It’s our favorite way to spend time together. Recently, we’ve started bringing along nature scavenger hunts to make our outings even more interactive and educational for the kids. These hunts are such a hit! They keep the little ones engaged, exploring, and learning about the natural world around them. I thought I’d share a bunch of scavenger hunt printables with you all, so you can join in on the fun too!
Bring a scavenger hunt with you while you camp! We had a blast looking for all of the items on the checklist while camping in Ithaca NY last week! We found all but 3 items.
Littles can enjoy finding colors in nature while older kids can practice drawing or writing textured items.
