This free printable Spring Bucket List is packed with simple, exciting activities to help them make the most of the season – whether it’s having a picnic, making a bird feeder, or watching a sunset. It’s all about slowing down, enjoying nature, and creating memories that will last long after spring is over!

Painting rocks is a fun way to get creative this spring! Turn them into cacti, write your name, or create a beautiful flower scene. Keep them, gift them, decorate the garden, or hide them for others to find!

Nature crafts are relaxing, and allow you to get creative, and connect with the world around you. Using leaves, flowers, and twigs, you can make beautiful art while enjoying fresh air and the calming effects of nature. You can make Twig Stars, Flower Weaves, Nature Paintbrushes, Nature Trees, Wind Chimes from Branches, and so much more!

Dancing in the rain is a simple joy that can boost your mood and help you feel more connected to the moment. It’s a chance to embrace the weather, let go of worries, and have fun, no matter what’s going on around you. Plus, the fresh air and feeling of freedom can be surprisingly refreshing for both the body and the mind.

Planting flowers is not only a great way to beautify your space, but it also has many benefits for your well-being. It’s a peaceful, grounding activity that helps reduce stress and boosts your mood. Plus, it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about nature, growth, and responsibility as you care for your plants and watch them thrive. We grow plants from seeds each year and plant them in our garden to instill self-sufficiency and confidence. It’s a rewarding experience that teaches the kids (and us) about patience, hard work, and the joy of nurturing something from the very beginning.

Exercising in nature, whether it’s biking, hiking, or just taking a stroll in the park, offers a refreshing break from everyday life. Being outside allows you to clear your mind, improve your physical health, and connect with the world around you.

Playing a game, whether inside or outside, is a wonderful way for both kids and adults to bond, relax, and have fun. It encourages creativity, teamwork, and healthy competition while providing a break from daily routines. Try bringing a Nature Scavenger Hunt with you next time you take the kids to the park and watch how much fun it can add to your trip!

One of the activities on the Spring Bucket List is drawing a spring picture, so we followed a lesson from The Best Youtube Channel For Teaching Kids to Draw. It was so much fun getting creative with the kids and enjoying the season while also counting as an art lesson for homeschooling. The step-by-step instructions help my kids and I to feel confident in drawing. It feels very rewarding to see the final product!
