Crafty Picture Frames

The kids made these adorable picture frames for their uncle’s birthday. He lives in Colorado so it was a nice gift for him to cherish while he’s away. These are so simple to make and the kids loved decorating them. A perfect gift as a special surprise or for any holiday!

You will need:
Popsicle Sticks
Pipe Cleaner
Hot Glue Gun
Decorations – Sequins, Buttons, Foam Stickers, etc.
A Photo

Instructions:

1. Lay 2 sticks horizontal.
2. Lay 2 stick vertical on top of the horizontal sticks and hot glue them together at the corners.
Do this twice. You will need 2 squares for each frame you make.

3. Now, you can decorate your frame! You only need to decorate 1 square per frame. We used buttons, sequins, foam stickers and crayons. We LOVE these Mosaic Sticker Art Packs. There is always extra stickers so I save them for projects like these!

*Egg cartons are a wonderful tool for holding little craft items like sequins and buttons!*

Now that you’ve finished decorating, you can put your frame together.

4. Cut a photo to the size of the square leaving enough room to glue it to the sticks.
5. Glue the photo to the back of the decorated frame.
6. Glue your plain square on top of the photo with the horizontal sticks facing down.

7. Hot glue the pipe cleaner in a hook shape on the top stick. Wait for it to dry completely before hanging.

That’s it! Your frame is ready for display. This was our first time making these and I just LOVE how they turned out. We will definitely be making more!
