Cardboard Tube Binoculars
I was planning a St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt and thought it would be super cute to make binoculars to look for all of the items. They were super easy to make and I had all the materials already.
You will need:
2 Cardboard Tubes
Paint
Yarn or string
Cardstock
Hole Punch
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors

Start by painting your cardboard tubes. I used gloss finish acrylic paint so they had some shine to them.
When they dry, glue them together.

Cut a strip of cardstock to wrap the tubes with. I made it about 1 inch wide. Hot glue it around the tubes.
Use a hole punch to punch a hole in the side of each tube. Tie string or yarn for a binocular strap.

That’s it! Now you can decorate it as you please! I waited until the night before the scavenger hunt to decorate them with sequins while the kids were sleeping. I told them the leprechaun must have made them lucky! These were an awesome addition to our scavenger hunt!
