Addition Practice
Miss 4 was running around looking for a calculator yesterday. It was missing so I told her we would download one on her Fire HD Kids Edition Tablet. I started by writing out some addition problems on lined paper and she LOVED it. So I made a couple worksheets and she has been doing them over and over all day! She loves typing on the tablet and doing her “work”.
This calculator app is free. I love that it’s simple and easy for kids to understand.
I have to admit that this is really one of her first times writing numbers. She’s practiced a handful of times here and there but truly writing them out like this, without tracing or any help, is a first. I think she did a really good job and she was so proud of herself.
These worksheets are great for learning addition. You can use them with blocks – 3 blue blocks plus 2 green blocks = how many blocks all together? You can use them with a calculator like we did or just as is. Print them below! ↓
