Back To Homeschool Writing Activity Free Printable

Today was our first “back to school day” with the kids! I have never done a definitive back to school day with them but this year we are trying something different. To kick it off, I made them a fun writing activity to encourage them to reflect on their summer or look forward to what we will be learning this year. We had a quick chat about how we wanted our “school time” to go this year and got to it!

Writing prompts are great for critical thinking, writing skills, creativity, and they are fun! My kids loved sharing their back to school day writing prompts with us.

*Tip* If your child is having trouble coming up with sentences, allow them to write anything that comes to mind at the time. This Back to School writing prompt is just to get back in the swing of things. It’s meant to be fun and stress free!
