Gingerbread Man Craft

Here’s a fun gingerbread man craft that’s really simple to get together. A perfect activity for either large groups or quiet time. Turn on your christmas music and get festive making these adorable gingerbread men! When you’re finished, you can turn these into ornaments or string them in a line to make a gingerbread men garland.

You will need:
Brown Construction Paper
Glue – I prefer tacky for gluing items like buttons and ric-rac.
Ric-Rac or ribbon
Googly Eyes
Anything else you’d like to add!
We used Small Ribbon Bows, Wooden Buttons and scarves made from constuction paper.

Print the template at the bottom of this page and cut it out. Trace it onto brown construction paper and cut out your gingerbread men.

Get your accessories together. I like to serve the accessories on a platter or in bowls for organized, easy access.

I put tacky glue in a small plastic container with a TINY bit of water. Then, I gave them Q-tips to dip into the glue and use to attach their pieces. This is so much easier than helping them squeeze thick tacky glue out of the bottle for each piece.

Once the glue dries, you can hang them on the Christmas tree, tape them to the wall or even give them as a gift from the kids!
