3D Tulip Card
We threw Grandma a 90th birthday party over the weekend! Our theme was tulips! Miss 4 and I made this awesome 3D Tulip Card. This one is really easy to make and looks so pretty when finished!
You will need:
Cardstock
Construction Paper
Glue
Scissors
5 in 1 Paper Cutter -optional
I made this template if you’d prefer to print and cut.
Tulip Template
Or you can trace one onto cardstock or construction paper.
Cut out 9 tulips. We used cardstock for one and construction paper for a different one. The cardstock looked a lot better when complete!
Fold each tulip in half. If there are any pencil marks or template marks make sure to fold those to the outside. That way they will disappear when we glue each tulip together.
Fold a full piece of cardstock in half. This will be the card. We used our 5 in 1 Paper Trimmer to score and fold. It gives it a perfect crease.
Cut a piece of paper into a rectangle a bit smaller than the folded cardstock. Glue it onto the front of the card. This will create a frame look.
Glue one side of each tulip together. Continue gluing each tulip onto the last one.
Cut a stem and 2 leaves out of green construction paper. Glue the stem and leaves onto the front of the card. Glue the 2 ends of your flower onto the card.
Wallah! A beautiful tulip card that POPS!
Make this for mom on mother’s day, for Grandma on her birthday or just for fun!
