Life Cycle Of A Butterfly Packet
We have been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly and doing a butterfly garden. Our caterpillars are getting big and we are so excited to see the transformation! The Life Cycle of a Butterfly Wheel is an interactive craft. Color and cut the wheel out, then use a brass fastener to attach the wheels together. Watch as you turn the wheel to see the life cycle of a butterfly.
You will need:
Cardstock
Crayons or Colored Pencils
Paper Fastener
Scissors
Color and cut the pieces, then glue them in the correct spot to create the butterfly life cycle.
Follow along as you caterpillars turn into chrysalis and then emerge as a butterfly with this observation journal! Each day we drew a picture of what we saw and wrote a short caption about what was happening. This is great for writing practice and penmanship!
Practice symmetry while talking about how a butterfly’s left side is perfectly symmetric to it’s right side. Draw a symmetrical butterfly!
